MOVIE HORROR STORIESby Australian Ann Another annoying story was when I saw Castaway with a friend. We came in slightly late but for some reason there was a whole row free. We sat down and soon realized why. A group of ummm ... mentally challenged people were sitting in the row behind us. They laughed idiotically throughout the whole movie. If a coconut dropped, they laughed. Home dentistry? Hilarious! The piece de resistance was when Wilson drifted out to sea. They intermittently yelled "WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILSON!" (only give it a mentally challenged twang) throughout the remainder of the movie. I heard Castaway was actually quite good but I loathed it. Johnny: Wow, I'm not the only person to experience something like this! Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of "Castaway." I nodded off multiple times, so something like the above might have at least kept me awake. Moral of the Story: Love those who are mentally-challenged. Hug them, spend time with them, and donate to their charities. But don't feel guilty if you choose not to sit behind them at the movies. Send your stories to me and let the whole world know just how dangerous going to the movies can be. |
