MOVIE HORROR STORIESby Molly L. I went with a group of friends to see Scary Movie 4, which in my opinion was awful! The movie starts and it is really stupid, like, even worse than all three of the other movies combined! Okay, maybe I wasn't enjoying it because I had spilled my drink, or I had lost my money, or maybe it was the six rude teenyboppin' emo, rich b**ches 8 rows down who were taking pictures to show off for their boyfriends. I swear; they took like ten pictures ... WITH THE FLASH ON! Everyone in my group was like "wtf?" And the boppin' emo girls would laugh as hard as they could every time they took a picture. One even said, "That's going on Myspace!" I had had enough at that point! I took a few Gummi Bears and a handful of Mike n' Ikes and showered them over the group. They looked around and shook their fists and still took pictures! I threw more and I got the same reaction. After awhile, and a whole bag of Mike n' Ikes, they stopped and mumbled angrily through the rest of the film. When it finished, the group walked by us and did not even know it was I who had been chucking my candy at them. It was very rewarding to watch them pick Gummi Bears off the bottom of their shoes and Mike n' Ikes out of their shirts. Johnny: I would say that taking pictures (with the flash, no less) in a darkened theater definitely warrants having candy thrown at you. I'd go so far as to say a lick or two on the candy to make it nice and sticky wouldn't be pushing it too far. People have got to learn. Moral of the Story: If you don't want candy thrown at you then DON'T TAKE PICTURES DURING A MOVIE! The lack of common sense is no excuse for rude behavior. Send your stories to me and let the whole world know just how dangerous going to the movies can be. |
