All times are Central. Why? Because that's *my* time zone, chico.

MONDAY

One on One (7:00 PM) - This has been on since 2001?? I've never heard of it. It has something to do with a dad, his strong-willed daughter, and the dad's desire to return to the NBA. I'll be shocked if you've heard of anybody in the cast. Premiered 9/20.

Half & Half (7:30 PM) - It's about two half sisters who grew up apart who miraculously become strangers and enjoy sisterhood for the first time. And of course, the sisters are completely different from each other. Wow. Talk about compelling television. Anyway, what's up with all the titles that use the same word twice? Allow me to suggest Boutros Boutros, a reality show giving us an inside look at the exciting happenings in the life of Boutros Boutros-Ghali. Premiered 9/20.

Girlfriends (8:00 PM) - Do I really have to preview UPN's entire lineup? Sigh. Four black gals explore all the "hot-button issues" that women face today. Let's just say I'm not exactly the demographic they're shootin' for. Premiered 9/20.

Second Time Around (8:30 PM) - A young black couple married, got divorced, and now they remarry. I suppose hijinks and shenanigans are supposed to ensue. I didn't watch it the first time around, I won't be watching it the second time around, and if it turns the corner a third time, well, I'll ignore it then as well. Premiered 9/20.

TUESDAY

All of Us (7:00 PM) - This "comedy" is supposedly inspired by the real life domestic life of Will Smith and Jada Smith except with a severe lack of star power. I'm pretty sure this is the last you'll ever hear me talk about it. Premiered 9/21.

Eve (7:30 PM) - The Grammy-winning singer has her own sitcom. If I ever have time to watch this show then it simply means I have way too much time on my hands. Aw man, Ali Landry is on it??? She's HOT! Sheesh, I don't want to be tempted to watch this! Great. Premiered 9/21.

Veronica Mars (8:00 PM) - A new show about a girl (Kristin Bell) who helps out her Private Eye dad. All the while she's trying to sort out the strange circumstances surrounding her parents and the death of one of her friends. Hmm, sounds kind of interesting. Maybe I'll actually give this one a look! Premiered 9/21.

WEDNESDAY

America's Next Top Model (7:00 PM) - A bunch of jealous, super wainches acting all wainchy? No thanks.

Kevin Hill (8:00 PM) - The next-to-last thing TV needs is another legal drama. The last thing TV needs is a legal drama starring Taye Diggs. Premieres 9/29.

THURSDAY

Smackdown (7:00 PM) - If you need a wrestling fix, then here you go. Here's a tip - it's a 2 hour show, but it contains about 20 minutes of stuff that is actually entertaining. Tape and FAST FORWARD! Wrestling just hasn't been the same since the Rock left. Premiered 9/23.

FRIDAY

America's Next Top Model (7:00 PM) - This is a repeat.

Kevin Hill (8:00 PM) - Yep, a repeat.

The best thing I can say about UPN is that it doesn't offer programming on Saturday and Sunday. Granted, my skin color is probably a little too light to really enjoy most of these shows, but still. I don't think I've seen programming that has appealed to me less since the days when I'd be at my grandparents and was forced to sit through marathons of The Golden Girls and Mama's Family.
