All times are Central. Why? Because that's *my* time zone, chico.
SUNDAY
Steve Harvey's Big Time (6:00 PM) - Steve Harvey has a variety show. Yeehaw.
Sorry, but I can't stand to look at his mustache. Premiered 9/12.
Charmed (7:00 PM) - These gals can put a spell on me any day, know what I'm
saying?!?!?! They're hot, especially Rose McGowan. But why does Alyssa Milano insist on getting a boy
cut? It looks horrible! Premiered 9/12.
Jack & Bobby (8:00 PM) - I refuse to believe that this is NOT inspired by the
Kennedy family. Who do they think they're fooling? I guess we'll know for sure if there's an episode where a
drunken Uncle McCallister drives off a bridge, leaves a girlfriend for dead, and then inexplicably gets
voted to Congress. Premiered 9/12.
MONDAY
7th Heaven (7:00 PM) - Gayest show on television. The lack of Jessica Biel leaves
NO reason to watch it. Premiered 9/13.
Everwood (8:00 PM) - Bailey from Party of Five has joined the cast.
Doesn't mean I'll watch it though. Premiered 9/13.
TUESDAY
Gilmore Girls (7:00 PM) - Lauren Graham has a certain charm about her, but it's
not enough to convince me to watch this. My 25-year-old sister loves it though. I did get to see the
set when I was in Hollywood! I'll sign autographs if you want. Premiered 9/21.
One Tree Hill (8:00 PM) - Chad Michael Murray? Please. Premiered 9/21.
WEDNESDAY
Smallville (7:00 PM) - I love Smallville! I don't know why Ms. Cali has
to act like she doesn't enjoy it. It's a very interesting look at Clark Kent during his high school years.
This is one of the few shows I make sure to watch weekly. Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor is great, and I'm
pretty sure Kristin Kreuk couldn't be any cuter. Premiered 9/22
The Mountain (8:00 PM) - A bunch of good-looking people try to run a resort up
in the mountains. Or something. Rhiannon claims it wasn't horrible. Premiered 9/22.
THURSDAY
Blue Collar TV (7:00 PM) - Southern comics such as Jeff Foxworthy and Bill
Engvall bring their comedy tour to TV. I love the commercial where the guy is quite upset that his little
league team can't hit a ball that is SITTING ON A TEE! Premiered 7/29.
Drew Carey's Green Screen Show (7:30 PM) - Drew Carey has another improv comedy
show. Feel free to watch it for me. Premieres 10/7.
The WB's Studio Show (8:00 PM) - Some sort of strange mix between the reality
and game show genres. Doesn't sound the least bit compelling. Premieres ???
FRIDAY
What I Like About You (7:00 PM) - This is basically Jenny Garth and Amanda
Bynes acting cheek-pinchingly cute. Premiered 9/17.
Commando Nanny (7:30 PM) - Commando Nanny? I'm sorry, but Commando Nanny???
It's the year 2004 and the best we can do is COMMANDO NANNY?!?!?! A soldier becomes a nanny? I really don't
know what to say. At least it doesn't star Hulk Hogan. Premieres in October.
Reba (8:00 PM) - Oh please no. No matter what, please don't let my remote
accidentally land on the WB when this show is on. I almost poked my eardrums out once when I was
listening to Reba fake up her accent. Folks, I love a woman with a genuine Southern accent (ala Emily Proctor),
but Reba's can be used to peel wallpaper. Premiered 9/17.
Grounded For Life (8:30 PM) - I'm pretty sure I don't need another family
sitcom. Premiered 9/17.
There's some decent stuff here, but the only one I fully recommend is Smallville. If you need a Rose
McGowan fix, then Charmed isn't too bad. I'm still mad that The Jamie Kennedy Experiment was
cancelled. That was one of the best hidden camera shows I've ever seen. It's quite possibly my favorite.
But what do we get instead? Commando Nanny. Just unbelievable.
