A documentary that examines the question, "If Barack Obama wins a second term, where will we be in 2016?"

Hey everybody, this is everyone’s favorite fill-in reviewer, Shawn Paul.  Adam hasn’t been able to do any reviews lately because the heat has been playing havoc with his long locks.

(Editor’s Note: Shawn obviously hasn’t read my high regarded review of Premium Rush.)

2016 is a documentary by Dinesh D’Souza.  He is an author that has written a few really good books, and his latest book is where this movie idea came from.  As far as documentaries go, this is a good one.  Although, I knew most everything he talked about because I am not one of the uninformed lemmings in this country.

The main theme of the movie is: What will America look like if Obama gets another term?  Dinesh does a good job of paralleling his life with Obama’s life.  And I will be honest with you, I don’t like where he (Obama) is taking us… but I am going to stay vague so as not to push my politics on you.

Will you like this movie?  It all depends on how open you are to historical facts and historical truths.  If you go into it with an open mind, you might actually learn something.  But if you don’t feel like having your paradigms shifted, then don’t go see it.

I give it 4.5 boots, mainly because I didn’t see anything getting blown up for the whole running time of this summer flick.
